He is survived by sons, James (Debbie) Howard, Jr. of Turlock, CA, Steven (Susie) Howard of Reno, NV, daughter Jeannine (Danny) Canyon of Merced, CA, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister, Jenell (John) Daly of San Jose, CA.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Ann Yiengst & Beth Rowland of San Jose, CA, Louise Flanagan of Springfield, OR, brothers Clinton Howard of Long Beach, CA, Frank Howard of Dayton, OH, John Howard of San Jose, CA, and parents Connell and Viola Howard.
In his lifetime, he worked for various trucking companies in the San Jose area and also had his own company at times. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family and friends. He also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his extended family at Mils Restaurant in Milpitas.
His memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd. Fremont, CA 94539.
