aka " Boy","Uncle Boy" "Joe" and "Tata"
Born in December 21st 1947 in Gutad Florida Blanca Pampanga Philippines. Parents are Necerata and Carlos Ruiz. He was second to the youngest of 9 children consisting of 6 boys and 3 girls. He valued family and was very close to each of his siblings.
Schools attended were Florida Blanca Elementary school in his hometown province of Pampanga, high school at University of the East in Sampaloc Manila and College at the University of the Philippines for a Bachelors degree in Medical Technology then eventually went on to obtain a Masters degree in Business Administration. He knew the value of a good education. He once said that a person may have great amounts of fortunes but that can easily be taken away and lost just through one little mistake but a good education no one can ever take away from you and stays with you forever.
Some of his hobbies when he was still single was playing Softball in the rice fields, tumbang preso, playing guitar and Harmonica. He had a love for music and instruments.
While back in college in 1967, he met Josefina Buno. Eventually, they married on December 14, 1974. They then immediately started a family. They have 3 children. Jennifer, Lester and Jonathan. In search for a better future, he migrated his family to the United States in June 1984.
During his initial years in the United States, he has worked as a lab assistant and in automobile sales. The bulk of his career was in Pharmaceutical Sales.
He has four grandchildren who's names are Joshua Taye, Richmond Luis, Jena Lerissa and Chloe. He absolutely adored and loved his grandchildren. He loved having his grandchildren around and spending time with them. We know he will always be watching over them and will help keep them away from harm.
He truly was and still is a man of honor and integrity. He never took anything that didn't belong to him and he never took advantage of anyone. He gave credit where credit was due. Whatever he had. No matter how much and often times, no matter how little. He would always share with those who needed help the most.
He will be missed and never be forgotten.
Rest In Paradise, Dad.
Until we meet again.
We love you.
