Julia Elaine Brown was born February 28, 1962 in Fremont, California and peacefully left us on August 21, 2025. Julie is survived by her brother, Caleb A. Brown Jr.; her nephew, Aidan H. Brown; her nieces, Sharon Christensen and Michelle Brown; her grandnephews Caleb T. Brown, Gavin Vaughan and Dorian Christensen; her grandnieces Shelbie Vaughan and Delaney Vaughan; and finally her cherished newest members of the family, Great grandnieces Aria J. Brown and Elsie Julia Brown.
Raised in Fremont, California her whole life, Julie attended Warm Springs Grammar School and then later on graduated from Irvington High School, where she gained more popularity than she was really comfortable with. Being a beautiful Cheerleader in High School with a whole clan of beautiful friends had a lot to do with that.
After High School, Julie started taking General Ed classes at Ohlone Jr. College, but later switched to specialized IC Mask Design (CAD) courses and used that training to get started in her job as an Analog IC Mask Designer at Linear Technology, Inc. That ended up being a great career choice, because she was there for more than 30 years. In the middle of all that, she survived her first battle with Breast Cancer, Chemo, Radiation and Surgery and returned to work, eventually becoming Manager of her own department. As a result, she was able to take a comfortable retirement at a young age, shortly after Mom passed away (a loss Julie never fully recovered from).
Julie had a lot of self-sacrificing qualities and took responsibility as the primary care-giver for both Mom and Dad when they became seriously ill. She shared a quality with Mom that made her want to support friends and family at the times they needed it the most.
Julie enjoyed clothes shopping, fixing up her house, short vacations to fun locations and lots of backyard Bar-B-Q's and parties with her friends and family. Her family and friends will cherish her memory and her life forever.
