Leonida Guira Calso was born on July 16, 1942 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Melecio and Zamora Guira. She passed away on April 21, 2012 surrounded by her family and close relatives. She is survived by her husband, Jesus Pena Calso, and her three children, Cheryll (married to Dave Keyser), Liza (married to Joe Ortiz), and Jeffrey. She is also survived by two siblings, Vicky Abalos and Artemio Guira from Maui, Hawaii. She leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren who she adored completely: Olivia, Jonathan, and Noah Keyser, and Carissa and Xavier Ortiz. Leonida was a loving wife, mother, sister, nana and friend; she was a woman of faith who touched the hearts of so many people. May she rest in heavenly peace.
