Lillian was born in Magnolia, Arkansas on October 3, 1933, to the union of Essie Sharp and Linnie Pearl Woodmore. Lillian moved to California in the early 1950s when her sons were very young. Her Aunt Clara Decker and Uncle Horace Decker were like surrogate parents for her and her children. In 1981 Lillian married Thomas Minter, who preceded her in death.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory her Aunt Christine Courtney of Magnolia, Arkansas, her two sons, John (Carolyn) of San Leandro and Sammy of Oakland; grandchildren, Edward Hill (Carla) of Wheatland, Indiana, David Page (April) of Denton, Texas, John Edward Page, Jr. (Deena) of Hayward, California, Jarrad Page (Teela) of Granada Hills, California, and Sammy Lee Page, Jr. of Los Angeles, California; great grandchildren, Jade Hill, Jordan Hill, Tyree Page, Mika Page, Naya Page, Jahari Page, Jarrad Page, Jr., and Jaiden Page; great-great grandson Jaylen Hill. Lillian also leaves a host of extended family members and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at San Leandro Funeral Home, 407 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro, California. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary in Hayward, California.
