Long Bao Huynh

Long Bao Huynh,31, passed away on February 22, 2016, following a 6 year illness. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Long had touched in some way throughout his short, yet very memorable life.

Bao Long’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile melt the hearts of those around him, and his spoken words were always of love and caring for others. Bao Long's passion and love for life was shown through his creative soul and in his artistic work.

Although Bao Long’s illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

With Bao Long’s passing, we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, he will forever remain in our hearts. Through his struggles we understood what it means to be strong, and we feel so privilege to be his parents.

Bao Long leaves behind many wonderful and loyal friends that provided him with much love and support. He also extends his love to his caregivers, his wonderful nurses, hospice staff(s) as they provided him with love and dignity in his life and also in his death.

Bao Long is survived by his loving parents, Huong Nguyen and Tat Huynh, sister Nhu-Mai Huynh, brother Duy-Anh Huynh, grandmother Mung Le, his aunts and uncles, Dung, Linh & Thanh, Lan & Loc, Linda, Tuan & Thuy, Tan & Nga. Also his cousins Thao, Tam, Trinh, Steven, Lillian,Duy-Phong, Duy-Vu, Ryan, Xuan and Phuong.
