

84 years old passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at Kindness Residential CAre Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Angeles City, Philippines, to Emilio and Florentina Del Rosario, she lived a life marked by dedication, grace, and deep love for her family.
Perla is survived by her devoted children: Geraldine Mateo, Christopher Ramos, Leonardo Ramos Jr., and Jason Ramos. Her legacy continues through her nine cherished grandchildren: Christian, Madeline, Isaac, Katrina, Miko, Miles, Jomar, Maya, and Isabella; and her adored great-granddaughter, Evangeline.
A graduate with a bachelor's degree in education, Perla began her career at the Department of Budget and Management in Malacanang Palace, where she also transferred to the department of finance during President Macapagal's administration. She later served at the Department of justice within the Supreme Court of the Philippines. After emigrating to the United States, she contributed her expertise to the finance department of World Saving Bank in San Leandro.
Perla found joy in the timeless music of jazz legends like Nat King Cole, FRank Sinatra, and Johnny Mathis. Above all, she treasured moments spent with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her selflessness, boundless generosity, and industrious spirit - qualities that touched everyone who knew her.
Perla's life reflected resilience, commitment to service, and unwavering love for her family. She passed just weeks before her 85th birthday, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories.
