

Raymundo Curiel Rosas, centenario de 102 años, fallecio el 7 de Noviembre de 2024 por complicaciones medicas. El nacio el 18 de Febrero de 1922 en el pueblo del Cimarron Chico, Mascota, Jalisco, Mexico. Sus padres fueron Andrea Curiel y Raphael Rosas. Hermanos y medio hermanos fueron Roberto, Fidel, Rosa, y Placida. Su esposa, Esther, y su hijo, Efren, fallecieron anteriormente. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Galdino y familia, Edmundo y esposa Ana y familia, Sergio y esposa Janina y familia, y Maribelle y esposo Jose y familia. Su familia incluye 16 nietos, 12 visnietos a igual que muchos sobrinos y sobrinas. Se casó a los 24 años en el Cimarron Chico con Esther Peña. Fue un provedor sin falta para su esposa y hijos.
Originario a los Estados Unidos atraves del programa, Braceros, trabajó en todos los pueblos (Fresno, Madera, Merced, Modesto, etc.) en el valle de San Joaquin. En 1959, se imigro a Estados Unidos por Mexicali con todo y familia. Pasando un tiempo en Holtville y despues en El Centro, estableció un hogar en el valle de Imperial en el pueblo de Imperial. Trabajó por la ganaderia Central Valley Land and Cattle por 35 años. Vivió en un ambiente agusto a estilo ranchero con todo y animales. Nunca le falto una cerveza o un brindis de vino para sus amigos o familiares cuando lo visitaban. Fue una persona de gran amistad con toda la gente. En 2006 el y su esposa se cambiaron a la ciudad de Milpitas, donde ya habian establecido hogares todos sus hijos.
Raymundo Curiel Rosas, 102-year-old centenarian, died on November 7, 2024 due to medical complications. He was born on February 18, 1922 in the town of Cimarron Chico, Mascota, Jalisco, Mexico. His parents were Andrea Curiel and Raphael Rosas. Brothers and half brothers were Roberto, Fidel, Rosa, and Placida. His wife, Esther, and her son, Efren, died previously. He is survived by his children, Galdino and family, Edmundo and wife Ana and family, Sergio and wife Janina and family, and Maribelle and husband Jose and family. His family includes 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces. He got married at 24 years old at Cimarron Chico with Esther Peña. He was a provider without fail for his wife and children.
Original to the United States through the program, Braceros, he worked in all the towns (Fresno, Madera, Merced, Modesto, etc.) in the San Joaquin Valley. Living some time in Holtville and later in El Centro, he established a home in the Imperial Valley in the town of Imperial. He worked for Central Valley Land and Cattle as a rancher for 35 years. He lived in a comfortable ranch-style environment with everything and animals. He never missed a beer or a toast of wine for his friends or family when they visited him. He was a person of great friendship with all people. In 2006 he and his wife moved to the city of Milpitas, where his children had already established their homes.
