Rogelio "Roger" Gines was born in Banglayan Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Philippines on June 27, 1942. He is the 3rd son of the late Moises and Feliza Gines. He was married to the late Virginia Cabico and from their union they had nine children; 5 girls and 4 boys. He migrated to the USA on 1984 and worked as a machine technician in an Electronic Company. He is blessed with four grandsons.
In his healthier days he enjoyed being a cook at his friends and relatives’ parties and going to the farmers’ market. His greatest pleasure was taking care of his grandsons Joshua and Luke when they were little.
He passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15th, 2012 with his loved ones by his side. He is survived by his beloved children, Gina, Greg, Agnes, Elizabeth, Joy, Virgilio “Bong”, Victor, and Leilani, sons-in law Michael, Virgilio “Fudge”, Erwin, Ken and Don, grandsons Andrew, Joshua, Ace, brothers Moises Jr., Ernest and Peter, and Luke and many other relatives.
