Sim Ai Wei

January 1944 - November 2014

After a courageous battle with health complications, Sim Ai Wei passed away peacefully at San Jose Regional Medical Center. She was surrounded and comforted by family members.

Sim was born and raised in the province of Lang Son, Vietnam. She was the first child and daughter of husband Nguy Thai Nhac and wife Lam Thieu Muoi. Sim and her family arrived to America in 1987 and became a permanent resident of Milpitas, CA since 1992.

She is survived by her husband, William; her daughter Kieu and husband David and their three children Amy, Kevin and Alex; her son Brian and wife Cathy and their daughter Arianna; her daughter Phung and husband Tuan and their two daughters Jennifer and Jessica; her daughter Milan and husband Tom; her son Tom; her daughter Diana and husband Steve and their two children Kimberly and MIchael. Sim will forever be remembered by her brothers Don and Ho, her loving sisters Ai Y and Hap.

Sim lived a long and wonderful life. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a caring grandmother. Sim touched the lives of many people with her smile, sincere generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, December 4th at 8:00 am at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary and burial at Skylawn Memorial Park located at Hwy 92 at Skyline Blvd. A reception will follow after the services in her honor.
