Viorica grew up in Ploiesti, Romania, the youngest of 4. Her parents valued education and so did Viorica, so she graduated with an engineering college degree. She met Gabriel and got married, had two children. In the late 1980’s Viorica and her two children fled the communist regime and spent over a year in a refugee camp in Europe, while Gabriel had to stay behind to wait for his family to arrive to the US. Gabriel joined the family eventually, after they arrived in the US.
Viorica was courageous, ambitious and persevering person. In the US she learned accounting and got an MBA, working as a bookkeeper and tax preparer.
Viorica is survived by her two children and five grandchildren.
