
She was a retired receptionist at Cleveland Mobile Home, Angola, Ind.
She graduated from Fremont High School in 1949, and attended Indiana Business College. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, Fremont. Mrs. Palmerton enjoyed knitting and crocheting, baking and cooking, and her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On Dec. 23, 1931, she was born to George B. and Mary L. Foulk in Fort Wayne, Ind.. She married Dean Palmerton in Angola on April 4, 1953. He survives in Fremont.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sherry and Doug Bressler, Fremont, and Lorie and Mark Knisely, Fremont; a son, Denny and Patricia Palmerton, Fremont; seven grandchildren, Mandy Bressler, Breanna and Brandon Derrow, Perry Palmerton, Ryan Palmerton, Melanie and Tim Constantino, Robin and Sam Guagenti and Mitchell Knisely; and three great-grandchildren, Zach, Maximus and Andrew.
Her parents, step-mother Iva Foulk and step-brother John Eastes preceded her in death.
A private graveside service will be held at Ray-Covenanter Cemetery, Fremont.
Calling will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont.
