Carola Ursula Thomas

Carola Ursula Thomas, age 57, of Montgomery, Michigan, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on April 26, 1963 to Carl and Hanna-Lore (Scheel) von Carolowitz in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She will be missed by her husband, Kevin Thomas, her children; Galiena, Mason and Myles. Her siblings, Elizabeth, Caron, Carlita, Ira and Wolf. Carola obtained a Masters degree in child education, which she used to influence the lives of many children. She was a firm believer in having fun with your life and frequently reminded her children to do so. Following her wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, June 11, at 4 pm at Clear Lake Lutheran Church, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Jeff Corder will officiate the service. Calling hours will be held prior to the Celebration of Life from 2 pm until 4 pm Thursday at the Clear Lake Lutheran Church. Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to the family or to the Clear Lake Lutheran Church. Burial will be at a later time. Her legacy will live on.
