Cherie Louise Blount

She was born May 3, 1957 in Auburn, Indiana, to the late Wendell and Blanche Cook.

Cherie married David Blount on August 2, 2003 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana.

She was retired from Vestil Manufacturing in Angola.

Cherie enjoyed gardening, cooking, home preserving, fishing, and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold, was an extremely hard worker, and would do anything for anybody.

Survivors include her husband, David Blount of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, her children, Hugh (Billie) Buck of Covert, Michigan, Debbie (Tim) Perkins of Avilla, Indiana, and Becky Buck of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, grandchildren, Katie, Nathan, Kim, Neko, Korbin, Jaycie, Noah, Avarie, Madison, and Mason, a brother Glenn Cook of Newville, Indiana, and sisters, Jean (Gary) Prough of Newville, Indiana, and Carol Winebrenner of Angola, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Blanche Cook, and brothers, Lavoy Cook and Tom Cook.

Visitation will be held from 11 am until 1 pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will follow at 1 pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Craig Burkholder will officiate the service.

Burial will be at Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Indiana.

Memorial donations are in care of the family.
