Deon Robert Trowbridge

He was born December 28, 2003, in Bryan, Texas.

Deon was adopted by Melinda Trowbridge in Ohio, and became a part of her family. After living in Ohio, they moved Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and he had lived there for most of his life.

He lived life to the fullest, and always had a smile. He loved music, and music gave him much joy.

He loved toys, and especially toys that made music. He took his first ride on a John Deere tractor at age 4, and he had been in every parade in the surrounding area since age 4, riding on a tractor with his grandfather, or riding in the wagon.

Survivors include his mother, Melinda J. Trowbridge of Pleasant Lake, Ind.; three siblings at home, Derreck Trowbridge, Amber Trowbridge and Jared Trowbridge; his grandparents, Charlie and Susan Young of Pleasant Lake, Ind.; a great-grandmother, Carmen Ragan of Kokomo, Ind.; two uncles, Michael and Becky Young of Ashley, Ind., and Matthew and Stephanie Young of Pleasant Lake, Ind. Several cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lawrence and Margaret Young and Lester Ragan; and a cousin, Wyatt Young.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, with Pastor Donna Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at Pleasant Lake, Ind.
