She was born in Dansville, Michigan to Walter and Josie (Walker) Artz on February 11, 1929.
She attended Eaton Rapids High School, graduating in 1947.
After graduation she married Melbourne Nettleman of Bronson, Michigan on July 8, 1947. They had two daughters, Janice and Christine.
Dorothy loved her family and loved reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Josie, her husband Melbourne, daughter Christine, her brother Daryl Artz, grandson Brian Dempsey, granddaughter Angel Dempsey, and great-grandchild Mark Travis Dempsey.
She is survived by her daughter Janice Dempsey of Angola, Indiana, grandson Mark (Sherrie) Dempsey of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, great-grandson Matthew (Kendra) Dempsey of Indianapolis, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at East Gilead Cemetery, Bronson, Michigan, with Pastor Mike Cain officiating.
