

Mr. Diehl worked many years as a caretaker of the Lakeside Cemetery and also worked at Indiana Wire.
He attended Fremont School. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He loved to feed and watch the birds outside his apartment window.
Mr. Diehl was a big fan of the Michigan Wolverines.
He loved spending time with his family. His favorite goodbye saying was “Be Sweet.”
He was born June 11, 1961, in Altoona, Pa., the son of Earl Charles and Betty (Rowles) Diehl. His father preceded him in death and his mother, Betty Diehl, survives in Angola, Ind.
He married Earlene Nelson on August 11, 1990, in Fremont. She survives in Angola, Ind.
Also surviving are four sisters, Linda Diehl of Angola, Ind., Bonnie and Walter Williams of Angola, Ind., Karen and Roger Weimer of Fremont, Ind., and Pam and Jim Detrich of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Gary and Kendra Diehl of Fremont, Ind., and Larry Diehl of Ashley, Ind.; and lots of favorite nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family visitation.
Graveside services will be at 11 at Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Lakeside Cemetery in Fremont, Ind., with Milan Towers officiating.
