Elaine Delores Pfeiffer

She was born on January 14, 1925 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Samuel and Clara (Sharpenberg) Bacon.

She graduated from Fort Wayne Central High School.

She married Earnest E. Pfeiffer on November 11, 1945 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was a member of the Lake George Lutheran Chapel, Fremont, Indiana. Her hobbies include quilting, as she had made over 500 quilts during her lifetime, and donated many of them to church’s and cancer patients, and enjoyed playing cards, sewing, and going to bible study.

Survivors include her husband, Earnest E. Pfeiffer, of Coldwater, Mich., her children, Byron (Amy) Pfeiffer of Ottawa, Canada, Bruce (Vicki) Pfeiffer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Barry (Kayla) Pfeiffer of New Haven, Indiana, Susan Dunbar of Coldwater, Michigan, Brad (Cathy) Pfeiffer of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Brian (Robin) Pfeiffer of Berne, Indiana, and Bronn (April) Pfeiffer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Arthur Bacon of Coldwater, Michigan, and a sister, Emily Bacon of Garrett, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Brent Pfeiffer (1976), a son-in-law, Michael Dunbar, two sisters, Geraldine and Lorene, and a brother, Samuel.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon Tuesday prior to services at Lake George Lutheran Chapel, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Lake George Lutheran Chapel, 1540 W 800 N, Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor David A. Easterday officiating

Burial will be at Knauss Cemetery, Kinderhook Township, Coldwater, Michigan

Memorials are to the Lake George Lutheran Chapel or to Riley’s Children’s Hospital.
