Eleanor L. Elliott

She was born on January 9, 1923 at Orland, Indiana, the daughter of Lyston and Marian (Turner) Keyes, they preceded her in death.

She was married to Ralph H. Elliott on June 1, 1941 at Elkhart, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1993.

She graduated from Orland High School and attended Business College in Fort Wayne.

She formerly owned an ice cream shop and gift shop in Orland, and hat shop in Sturgis, Michigan.

She was a member of the Orland Congregational Church, and a member of the Orland American Legion Auxillary.

She is survived by three sons, Howard & Diane Elliott of Orland, IN., Thomas & Karen Elliott of Ft. Wayne, IN., Jeff & Susan Elliott of Howe, IN., two daughters, Suzanne & Joseph DiCara of Tabernacle, NJ., and Robin & Carl Sears of Orland, IN., 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Cecil Keyes of Haines City, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Elliott, her parents, Lyston & Marian Keyes, and one sister, Alice Keyes.

A Public Visitation will be held from 11 am until 12:30 pm Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Orland Congregational Church, 9315 W. State Road 120, Orland, IN., and Private Family Services will be held following the visitation, with Pastor Mark Emelander officiating.

Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana.

Memorials are requested to the Orland Congregational Church.
