He was born on November 20, 1970 in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
Greg graduated from Jefferson County-DuBois Area Vocational-Technical School (Jeff Tech).
Greg enjoyed 22 wonderful years with his wife Angela. He loved his family, camping, kayaking, his dogs, and doing karaoke.
He worked at Stoop’s Freightliner in Fremont, Indiana for almost 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Cessna of Fremont, Indiana, children, Tonya (Logan) Garnsay of Fremont, Indiana, Mercedes Lyon (Greg Ortmann) of Pleasant Lake, Indiana and Kenneth Laws (Paige Howells) of Fremont, Indiana, father, Gurdul “Bud” Cessna of DuBois, Pennsylvania, sister, Karen (Francis) Brownell of Mount St. Helen’s, Oregon and an uncle, Mike Kester of Brockville, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Kester) Cessna on April 13, 2025.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 6 pm Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Memorial donations in his memory may be directed in care of the family.
