James Lewis Reas

Jim was born in Auburn, Indiana on May 14, 1943 the son of Walter and Rebecca (Wilson) Reas, they preceded him in death.

He married Connie R. Everett on March 4, 1972 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana.

Jim formerly worked for Moore Business Forms and Highland Computer Forms in Angola, Indiana.

He graduated from Auburn High School in 1961. He attended Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church. His hobbies included camping, motorcycles, reading, woodworking, and he dearly loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Reas of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, four children, Judson (Edith) Reas of Pasadena, California, Nicki (MJ) Meneley of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Renee Hull and Kris Reas,

three grandchildren, Daniel Reas, PJ Meneley and Reas Meneley, and a brother, Randy Reas of Aurora, Colorado.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Reas, and a sister, Carolyn Mills.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, and one hour prior to the services Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church from 10 am until 11 am.

The funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, October 10, 2014, at the Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church, with Rev. John Boyanowski officiating.

Memorials are requested to the Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church.
