James Andrew "Jim" Royal

He was born on April 2, 1946 in Butler, Indiana to the late John and Emma (Lothamer) Royal.

Jim attended Hamilton High School.

He was employed by Cole Cycle in Angola as a mechanic. He enjoyed being outside, listening to country music, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Christina (Kevin) Gick of Decatur, Indiana, Jada Carlisle of Bryan, Ohio, Malinda Gramling of Angola, Indiana, Jesse (Heather) Royal of Waterloo, Indiana, Ray (Cinnamon) Royal of Lynchburg, Tennessee and Alan (Hannah) Royal of Winchester, Indiana, 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Dorthy Meyers of Butler, Indiana.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Melvin, John, Jr., Elder and Leonard, and sisters, Ruth Ann, Rosemary and Rita.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Burial will be held at Hamilton Cemetery at a later time.
