He was born on June 8, 1970 in Angola, Indiana.
Mike graduated from Angola High School in 1988.
He later served in the United States Air Force.
Mike retired from Tenneco in Angola, Indiana.
Mike enjoyed a lot of different hobbies. He specifically was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jimmy Buffett. Some of our cherished memories include watching the History Channel, reading nonfiction, going to the Fort Wayne Zoo, and listening to music.
Survivors include his daughter, Savannah (Diego) Lopez of Warsaw, Indiana, mother, Sally Shepherd of Angola, Indiana, sister, Gina Shepherd of Angola, Indiana, brothers, Raymond (Natalie) Shepherd and Dustin Shepherd, both of Angola, Indiana, and nieces and nephews, Sawyer Reynolds, Alexis Meyers, Nicholas Shepherd and Mishayla Shepherd.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Shepherd, grandmother, Vivian Reiter, and uncles, Richard Reiter and Forrest Reiter.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm Monday, February 17, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Sam Hoffman will officiate the service.
Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 11am until 1pm Monday, February 17, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Burial will follow the services at South Scott Cemetery, Angola, Indiana with Military Honors.
