She was born on July 30, 1938 in Kendallville, Indiana to the late John and Josephine (Yazell) Shaw.
Jean attended Fremont Elementary School and later attended Metz School and became the last graduating class for Metz High School in 1957. She was in the junior high choir and later in the school play her senior year. She was a member Jewels Lady’s, Fremont, Indiana.
Survivors include her children, James Wall of Angola, Indiana, Lori Wall (Julie Mowen) of Marquette, Michigan, Alice (Brian) Welch of Fremont, Indiana, and Renee Wall (Rob) McGee of Evansville, Indiana, grandchildren, Kyra (James) Happ of Fremont, Indiana, and Kelcy Fitzpatrick (Kaden Sapp) of Edon, Ohio, great-grandchildren, Jayce Happ, Kinsley Happ , Koby Sapp, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by thirteen siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Elders Brian and Ricka Hice will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 am until 1 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Burial will follow services at Ray-Covenanter Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
