Jon Julian Alaura

Jon J. Alaura, age 75, of Angola, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jon was born on June 3, 1945 to Alan James and Donna Georgianna (Verney) Alaura. He was a United States Army veteran, and was retired from Cardinal IG, Fremont, Indiana. Jon enjoyed music, astrology, art and design, jewelry making, and spending time with his friends and neighbors. He was a philosopher of life. He graduated from Ivy Tech in 2000 as a design technician. Survivors include two nieces, Kelly Getts of Butler, Indiana, and Tammi Guarducci of Fremont, Indiana, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Alan Alaura. Following his wishes cremation will take place. A Graveside Service will be held at 6 pm Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
