He was born on May 22, 1958 in Washington D.C. to the late Allen and Lorraine (Butler) Worrell.
Joe married Dianna (Riegling) Pierce on December 17, 2005 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana. She survives.
He retired from MIller Poultry as a truck driver in 2023 after 25 years of service.
Joe was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He loved his dogs, Lake George, and spending time in his shop.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Worrell of Lake George, Fremont, Indiana, children, Jennifer Cummings of Elkhart, Indiana, Terra Taggart of Portage, Michigan, and Annamarie (Pat) Miller of Columbia CIty, Indiana, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and had 10 siblings.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Sam Worrell, and an infant son, Joe.
Visitation will be held from 9 am until 10:30 am, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 700 West Maumee Street, Angola, Indiana.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana. Father Raul Marroquin will officiate the Mass.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
A meal will be provided following the burial at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana.
