Joyce Arlene Parker

Joyce was born in Algansee Township on July 19, 1936 to Clifford and Pauline (Zimmerman) Pierson, they preceded her in death.

She attended Quincy High School. She worked for several years at the Coldwater Regional Center, and also was co-owner of the Parkers General Store, and retired from Handy and Harman in Angola, Indiana.

She was a member of the Coldwater Eagles Lodge since 1972. She enjoyed knitting, her dogs and cats, and loved her family.

She married Thomas Parker on September 14, 1964 and he preceded her in death on September 25, 2009.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim (Marc) Scott of Quincy, Michigan, 6 grandchildren, Tyler Parker of Hillsdale, MI., Derek (Stacie) Parker of Quincy, MI., Kelly (Zachery) Brewster of Farmington Hills, MI., Lacey (Brian) Antvelink of Grand Rapids, MI., Devin (Shelly) Scott of Litchfield, MI., Kirstin Scott of Quincy, MI., and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Leonard Parker in 1984.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, July 17, 2015 at Beams Funeral Home, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.

Burial will be at California Cemetery, Montgomery, Michigan.
