

Mr. Fraley was born June 20, 1940, in Fremont, Indiana, the son of Payne and Sylvia (Neely) Fraley. They preceded him in death.
He was a 1958 graduate of Fremont High School. He retired in 1988 from International Harvester after 30 years. While employed at International Harvester, he served as Union Steward and Committee Man. He also worked for the Steuben County Highway Department and was a car hauler for Harold Chevrolet in Angola, and formerly worked as a milk hauler for Ora Stackhouse at Pleasant Lake, and at Young’s Body Shop at Pleasant Lake, Indiana.
He loved farming, International Harvestor tractors, IU basketball, and was a NASCAR fan.
Larry is survived by two daughters, Carrie Sue (James) Murden of Orland, Ind., and Laura Dean (Brent) Cooper of Middlebury, Ind.; one son, Scott Allen Fraley of Angola, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Kevin Murden, Tommy Hutchins, Jeremy and Shannon Mocherman, Adam and Sammi Baird, Kattlynn Myers, Jason Fraley and Kasey and Brent Aldrich; and eight great-grandchildren.
Larry is also survived by his significant other, Diana K. Book of Pleasant Lake, Ind., and her children, Troy (Cari) Book of Angola, Ind., Clint Book of Angola, Ind., and Cristie Book of Pleasant Lake, Ind, her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill and Sharon Fraley of Angola, Ind.; and four sisters, Renea Walters of Angola, Ind., Christine Fraley of Pace, Fla., Wendie and Howard Petre of Angola, Ind., and Kay and Bill Lisenby of Milton, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Payne and Sylvia Fraley; one son, Gregory Lyn Fraley; and two brothers, Gary Thomas Fraley and Willie Day Howard.
Visitation will be from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Ind.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Ind., with the Rev. George Foulk officiating.
Private family burial will be at a later time at Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Pleasant Lake, Ind.
Memorials are to the Steuben County 4-H Club or Steuben Township Fire Department at Pleasant Lake, Ind.
