Layla was born in Auburn Indiana on July 26, 2014, the daughter of Austin S. and Nora L. (lucas) Budreau
“Little Girl” Layla’s life cannot be measured by the number of breaths she took, rather it should be measured by the number of moments that she took our breath away. Little Girl was only with us for a short time, but she touched many lives in a BIG way. Her big smile and long eyelashes made everything we do better; waking up in the morning, going on walks, taking a boat ride, visits to the sandbar, waterski runs, dinner dates with friends, family reunions, and even watching the Bears lose each week. Layla proved that a child does change everything, we didn’t know how much we were missing until we met her. Everyone that met Little Girl will always be able to look back at the time they shared with her, remember that moment, and SMILE!
