Phyllis E. Rechtine Keener

She was born on November 5, 1933 in Cable, Ohio.

Phyllis attended Lima South High School in Lima, Ohio.

She married Edward Rechtine on September 11, 1950 in Lima, Ohio. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2000.

Later Phyllis married Lyndall Keener on November 1, 2004 in Coldwater, Michigan, he preceded her in death on September 24, 2018.

Phyllis enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. She was a wonderful cook, and loved to bake and have flower gardens.

Phyllis formerly worked at Kohn’s Loan Company in Lima, Ohio. Later after moving to the Coldwater, Michigan area she worked as an associate for the Putnam Funeral Homes.

Survivors include her children, Pat Wicker of Angola, Indiana, Pam Hullinger of Kinderhook Township, Michigan and Thomas Rechtine of LaGrange, Indiana, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Donna Farst of Coldwater, Michigan.

She was also preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Siegenthaler, mother, Esther (Taylor) Siegenthaler Jenkins, daughter, Kathy Lonczkowski, grandson, Thomas Rechtine, Jr, a brother, Robert Bodey and a son-in-law, Bob Wicker.

Following her wishes a private family graveside service and burial will be held at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
