

He was an asphalt and concrete road construction worker for Apac Construction in Ashville, N.C.
Mr. Harverson attended Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car racing, science fiction movies, and Indian Folklore.
He was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Waynesville, N.C., to Dave and Truley (McGaha) Harverson. He married Vicky (Dirrim) Schuller on May 17, 2004, in Haywood County, N.C. She survives in Angola.
Also surviving are a daughter, Candace Melton of Waynesville, N.C.; two grandchildren; and four sisters, Belle Rowe of Angola, Candace and James Dotson of Central, S.C., Dare and Terry Justice of Canton, N.C., and Lou Ellen Millman of Canton, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Margaret Lee Ann Harverson; his brothers and sisters, James ‘‘Hopper’’ Harverson, Jenny Rupe, Jimmie Troutman, Frances Mathis and Neil Sisk; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Wynelle Dirrim, Judy Witham and Ricky Dirrim.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lakeside Cemetery at Fremont with the Rev. John Boyanowski.
