

SUE ANN JENKINS BRADLEY, 84, of Moline, Ill., died Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at home. Born, Sue Ann Kinder on June 8, 1931, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Berniece Miller Kinder and Paul Kinder. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949. Sue Ann married Rex C. Jenkins on Jan. 7, 1950, and had a fulfilling life with him and their family for 41 years. Rex preceded her in death in 1991. Sue Ann had a successful and award-winning management career with Avon Corporation, retiring in 1991. She was the owner of Jenkins Junction Restaurant & Bar in Orland, Ind. Since retirement, Sue Ann was an active member of the Moose organization, volunteering countless hours for charitable causes. She was a founding member of the Red Hat Society in Fremont. She was active in the Yachats, Oregon Ladies' Club and Red Hat Society. Sue Ann lived on the Oregon Coast in her retirement, returning to the Midwest this year. Sue Ann was known for her embrace of travel, fun, and living life to its fullest. She loved to dance. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Lonna (Gene) Parmentier of Moline, Ill.; son, Lyle (Tammy) Jenkins of Fremont, Ind.; grandchildren, Berniece (Ted) Reveal, Brendan (Maria) Gould, Blair (Jay) Dupree, and Tyler Jenkins. She was also step-grandmother to Arron and Jesse Firestine, Joyce Moran, and Cheryl and Angie Parmentier. She especially enjoyed her great-grandchildren, Bridget (Michael), Molly, Rex, Clara, Isabella, Eva, and Jac. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and her traveling companion and husband in later life, Bud Garrett.
A Mass will be held at 9 am Sunday, October 11, 2015, at St. Paul Chapel Catholic Church, 8775 E 700 N, Clear Lake, Fremont, Indiana, a committal service will follow immediatelyafterwards at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
A Celebration of her life will be held from 1 pm until 4 pm Sunday, October, 11, 2015 at the Fremont Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Mooseheart of Chicago at www.mooseheart.org.
