Victoria Hoot Brown, 73, of Coldwater, Michigan,
passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
She was born November 24, 1946 in Coldwater and was the daughter of Naomi (Force) Hoot and the late Donald B. Hoot.
She attended school in Fremont, IN, and at Coldwater HS, Coldwater MI.
She lived in Indiana, West Virginia, Georgia, and Nebraska before making her way back home to Michigan.
Becoming an over the road truck driver later in her working years
was definitely her most enjoyed career.
Vickie was always kind hearted, and happiest when she could make others happy. She was a great crafter and made numerous items, including hundreds of crochet hats, that she donated to area elementary schools.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Fremont, IN, and Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater, where she enjoyed playing pool.
She loved horses, reading and watching movies, but especially her family.
Vickie leaves behind sons Michael (Stephanie) McCormick, Avilla, IN;
Gary (Linda) McCormick, Avilla, IN; and Bradley McCormick of Ashley, IN; and daughters Michele (Johnny) Thrash of Shubert, NE; and Stephanie Brown of Charleston, WV.
A son, Beau Brown preceded her in death.
Her family is large with 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A grandson, Logan, also preceded her in death.
Her sister is Valerie (Don) Cheuvront of Ephrata, PA
and brother is Brian (Lori) Tanner of Bringhurst, IN.
We will miss her and her sense of humor.
There will be no visitation. All family & friends are invited to gather at her graveside in West Jamestown cemetery, Fremont, IN, at a date to be determined.
