Wanetta Ruth Warring

Wanetta was born on October 7, 1928 in Coldwater, Michigan, the daughter of Carl and Florence (Hollis) Merritt.

She married Dale L. Warring on July 22, 1950 in Angola, Indiana.

She worked at Dana Weatherhead in Angola, Indiana for 41 years, from 1949 until 1990.

She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, doing crafts, reading, and working in her yard landscaping.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Warring of Angola, Indiana, a son, Gary Warring of Lafayette, Indiana, two daughters, Sandy & Robert Baird of Elkhart, Indiana and Susan & Gary Stroh of Angola, Indiana, four grandchildren, Carla Bollinger of Libertyville, Illinois, Stephanie Whitehead of Elkhart, Indiana, Kristy Stroh of Noblesville, Indiana and Stacy Stroh of Chicago, Illinois, three great-grandchildren, Taylor Whitehead, Brad Whitehead and Madeline Bollinger, and a brother, Joseph Merritt of Central Point, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Hopkins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Darin Hendrey officiating. Calling hours will be held from 12:00 noon until 2pm Sunday prior to the services at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Flint Cemetery, Angola, Indiana
