Richard Dale Maier II

Dick was born the son of Richard and Ruth (Snyder) Maier on January 7, 1944. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1962.

Dick was employed by the City of Fremont for several years and later was involved in the roofing business. He enjoyed a simple life.

He is survived by a daughter; Laura Maier-Cummings (Thomas Boehm), sister; Carol (Debra Shumar) Maier, and grandchildren Keely and Aidan Cummings. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Pamela Hofstetter and Marcia Liwaj.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416. S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. A memorial service will take place at 3:00pm, with Susann Robitski Zimmerman officiating. As Dick wished, his body is to be cremated and interment of his ashes will be at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
