Mrs. Ally Othilie Peterson

On March 11, 1938, Ally married Harry Peterson and they were blessed with two daughters, Shari and Karen. In 1953, Harry moved the family from the snow to the sunshine in Fresno.

"Granny" as she was affectionately known was a remarkable woman. She was a citizen of three countries in her lifetime. She lived life to the fullest. She saw good in everyone and everything. The incredible love she showed her family and those around her is a trait to be emulated. She was a role model, a loving and guiding matriarch in every way.

Granny is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Shari and Rodney Paloutzian and Karen and John Pritchett; her granddaughter, Melissa Walker; her grandsons and their families, Brett and Christy Paloutzian, Cameron, Carter and Claire, Dirk and Bonnie Paloutzian, Haley, Hannah and Heather. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ivar and Peggy Lorentzen of Langley B.C., Canada; several nieces and nephews all of B.C., Canada; and cousins in Norway.

As per Ally's wishes, a private family memorial was held.
