Anastacia Sibal, or Annie to friends and family, was born August 28, 1942 in the Philippines. She married Agustin Sibal in 1965 and they were blessed with three children, Mark, Geraldine (Jing), and Catherine (Tet).
After successfully sending their children to college, she settled in the United States and has been living in Fresno, California for 21 years with Catherine and her family.
Annie was an alumni at University of the East Bachelor of Science and Business Administration with a major in Banking and Finance. She was employed at a couple of companies before landing an Administrative Supervisor position at PLDT Employees Credit Cooperative for 30 years.
Cooking was her passion for which she is fondly remembered by people close to her. She could whip up any dish, from a simple pancit and pandesal to the more sumptuous home baked ham, kare kare and tons of pastries such as hopia and empanada. She tended a small garden which grew guavas, oranges, lemon, calamansi, persimmon, as well as roses. She was a doting grandmother to her grandkids and instilled in them the value of education.
Annie has been battling numerous illnesses with God by her side. She drew strength from her deep faith in the Lord. But in the end, God called her.
She is survived by her husband, Chito, her three children Mark, married to Cherry, Jing married to Rex and Tet married to Freddie, and her eight grandchildren Miguel, Pat, Kat, Dana, Makie, Kate, Claire, and Cayla.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by her family and friends.
