Angel worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 30 years and then as a Gardener for 15 years. He loved to talk about History and Politics and planted a garden every year named "Paradise."
Angel was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ramon, Jose, and Jesus Valenzuela; and sisters, Mercedes Valenzuela, and Maria Armenta.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carmen; sons, Raymond Valenzuela and his wife, Velma, and Bill Valenzuela and his wife, Laura; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory from 2:00 - 7:00pm.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at The Shrine of St. Therese Church, 855 E Floradora Ave Fresno, CA 93728, at 9:30am
