Angelita Valdez was born on April 2, 1947, to Victor Valdez and Rafaela Mares in French Camp, California. She was number 9 in a family of 10 children - in order, Nicasio Valdez, Eleanor Valdez, Jesus Valdez, Pedro Valdez, Alberto Valdez, Joe Valdez, Salomon Valdez, Tito Valdez, Angelita Valdez, and Josefina Valdez.
Angelita had 4 children, Diana Valdez, Damian Valdez, Michael Valdez, and Rich Valdez Turney. She had 3 grandchildren, Rich Valdez, Mathew Valdez, and Gisele Valdez, along with 3 extended grandchildren, Gia Fernandez, Isaac Jimenez, and Clarissa Jimenez. Angelita loved her family very much and took part in raising Dianna Valdez and her 3 children, Alex Valdez, Alicia Ramos, and Charisse Warfield, along with Dianna's grandchildren, Izzaddorra Valdez, Quiency Valdez, and Sofia Sanchez.
Angelita was the school secretary at Calwa Elementary School in her younger years and then became a social worker for Government Assistance in her later years, where she retired as an advocate serving those in need of assistance. Angelita spent her life working to help others. After her retirement, she took joy in watching ministries and donating to charities with the goal of helping others. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and teaching them of God's plan. Angelita had a very strong faith in God and everything she did reflected that.
In her final years, Angelita shared her love of God with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
