Anita H. Forath

Anita was raised in the old German Town area of Fresno and attended Edison High School. Anita worked outside the home at Sears as well as with her husband at Holt and Forath Food Brokerage Company, but she enjoyed her work at home the most being a loving mother and grandmother.

The Forath Family would like to thank St. Agnes Hospice and especially Susan Nan at The Angels Landing Senior Home for their loving care to Anita during her illness.

She was preceded in death by William R. Forath, her husband of 61 years; her sisters, Marie Lehr, Barbara Rose, and Gertrude Jennings; and her brother, Waldemar Brehm.

She is survived by her sons, Tom Forath and his wife Sherry, and Steven Forath; and her loving grandchildren, Kristal Taylor and her husband Asher, Will Forath and Brett Forath.

Visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
