Anne, daughter of Johann Gottlieb Rube and Elizabeth Bitter Rube, Volga Germans from Russia immigrants, was one of ten children. During the war Anne quit school, then worked for the Kellner family, Borden Dairy, and Wasemiller's Dry Goods making lifelong friends.
She married the love of her life, August Manuel Sinner Jr. on January 17, 1948. They raised two wonderful and successful daughters. Anne loved working side by side with her husband building their house and from 1964 to 1967, helping August at their Lawn Mower business, Sinner's Garage.
After August's sudden passing on July 23, 1967, Anne worked 20 years at Gottschalk's Downtown store at the gift wrapping desk. Anne attended Fresno Adult School and proudly earned her High School Diploma at age 53.
She enjoyed hand embroidery, canning fruit in the summer, and sewing for her girls. She had an excellent memory and was the go to person for family genealogy records. She cherished her family's priceless photo album, and shared with all.
