On the morning of Monday, October 31st, Anne Elizabeth Toyloy, answered God’s call home. Anne was a loving wife and mother of two. Born to Michael and Dorothy Conway, Anne was the sixth of ten children. She grew up in Hanford and graduated from CSU Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Anne loved working and after being a State of California Auditor, she returned to the Central Valley to raise her children with her husband in Clovis. In the valley she worked as the Controller at Ashwood Construction and the General Manager at AHDC Inc. Anne had such a love for people. She loved her coworkers, Divine Mercy Prayer Group, Catholic Daughters, and her large family so dearly. She was always available to be a listening ear and gave truly amazing advice.
She was known to tell it like it is, but had such a big heart. Anne was a giving and kind woman, always wanting to help those in need. She used her free time to volunteer with many organizations throughout Fresno and Clovis. Anne was always willing and able to serve on charity boards and lent them her highly practiced budgeting skills. She always looked for the positives in life, anyone that knew her can attest to this. Throughout her battle with cancer, she remained hopeful and positive, talking comfort in prayer and the Lord.
Anne touched the lives of many through her advice, tough love and prayers. She loved reading and watching her newfound Canadian drama series, Heartland. She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Quentin Toyloy, daughters Catherine Toyloy and Serrano Alisasis, as well as her son-in-law, Jose Elias Alisasis. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at 10:00am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fresno, CA.
