ARTHUR ANTHONY ARAGON

JUNE 13, 1935 - JUNE 27, 2020

Art Aragon, beloved father and friend, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2020.

Art was born in Sapello, New Mexico on a farm, to Quirina Perea Aragon and

Filadelfio Aragon. Art was enormously proud of his New Mexican heritage. He

grew up in Brighton, Colorado.

Upon graduating from High School, Art joined the United States Air Force. After boot camp he married his beloved Grace, where upon they lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming and

Amarillo, Texas. After the Air Force and after several years being back home in

Denver, Colorado, he moved his family to Stockton, California and then to Fresno

for a new adventure.

Art was a personable, kindhearted man with great integrity. He was loved deeply

by his family and friends. Art loved people. He loved to socialize, tell jokes and

laugh. He had a beautiful singing voice and played the saxophone in his youth

and had a dance band.

Art sang in the choir at Holy Spirit church for many years and was a member of

the Guadalupe Society of Sacred Heart church as well as the Knights of Columbus.

Art and Grace volunteered for many functions with Guadalupe Society and the

Knights of Columbus. Art and Grace had many friends and enjoyed socializing,

traveling and dancing. He lived his life fully with joy and laughter.

Art's worked in the transportation industry in trucking for over 50 years. Near

retirement he ventured out and took a position at Whitehurst in sales. He

genuinely enjoyed the change of industries and helping people.

Art is survived by his beloved wife Grace, children Mickie Aragon, Margie Aragon-

Conway, Tim Aragon and their respective spouses Tamera Aragon and Mike

Conway, as well as his granddaughter, Abigail Grace Aragon.

Art will be missed by his sister, Teddy Suazo, sister-in-law Viola Rael and many

beloved nephews, nieces and friends.

We would like to thank his caregiver Mary Moles for her kindness and support.
