

Ben Cardon Borunda was born on November 9, 1946, in Fresno, California, and entered into the presence of the Lord on February 13, 2026, in Fresno, California. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Linda Borunda; his parents, Lebrado and Sarah Borunda; and his siblings Max, Leo, Margaret, Solomon, Richard, and Moses Borunda.
He is survived by his loving children, Loraine Borunda Ray and Ben Borunda Jr.; his son-in-law, David Ray, his daughter-in-law, Renee Borunda; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Joseph, and Juliana Ray. He is also survived by his siblings Ruth, Bill, David, Lydia, and Sally, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Ben attended Edison High School, where he began a life that would be defined by devotion to family, strong faith, and hard work. In 1967, he married the love of his life, Linda, and together they built a beautiful life. Their children and later their grandchildren brought him immense pride and joy.
He was a successful businessman for many years before retiring in 2024. Ben had a lifelong passion for antique cars as both a collector and a salesman, and he especially treasured the time he spent on the Central Coast with his wife, family, and friends.
A man of deep Christian faith, Ben faithfully supported his local churches and lived a life rooted in generosity, strength, and love-values that touched all who knew him. His memory will be forever cherished by those who were blessed to share in his life. May the peace of the Lord bring comfort to all who mourn him.
