Bettina Anne Papagni

Bettina Papagni was born in Fresno, Ca on March 24, 1923 to Pete and Rose Zena Papagni and died in Fresno on April 26, 2022.

Bettina started her work career working for Doctor Callaway as a receptionist in the Pacific Southwest Building in 1944. She then moved on to be a typist for the Fresno County Purchasing Department for 40 years.

She remained single to care for her Mother Rose Zena Papagni. She was preceded in death by her Sisters, Josephine Cocola in 2010, and Theresa Papagni in 2021.

The family is grateful to many caregivers but especially Samira Sarhan, Lorrie Hernandez and Cyndy Reveles for providing years of loving care. Also thanks to the Five Star Assisted living facility in Fresno for her care this last year.

She is survived by her Nephew, Gary M. Cocola and his Wife, Juliana, Niece Marlene Mosesian and her Husband Armen, and Niece Carol Covert and her Husband Ron. She is also survived by her Grand Nephew, Kevin Mosesian and his Wife Natalie, and Great Grand Nieces Ashley Mosesian and Presley Mosesian. She is further survived by her Grand Nephew Shawn Covert and his companion Sandra Villarreal.

A Visitation for Bettina will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.

A Committal service will occur Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St Peters Cemetery Chapel, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bettina’s name to St. Agnes Medical Center, 1303 E. Herndon Ave., Fresno, CA. 93720
