Bo Kochersperger

Bo Kochersperger, age 71, of Fresno, California passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Bo was born October 5, 1950 in Oakland, California, lived the majority of his life in the Bay Area and spent the last 8 years in Fresno with his wife, daughter, son in law and three grandchildren.

Bo is survived by his wife Jan, daughter and son-in-law Mandy and Kyle Jeffcoach, daughter-in-law Wendy Kochersperger, grandchildren Brayden, Kerrington, Cooper and Kaylee, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Mike Kubina, brother Robert Kochersperger and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Troy Kochersperger and sister Pam Little.

Bo was a devoted, loyal and loving husband, father and grandfather and the biggest San Francisco Giants fan around, often being seen in at least one piece of orange clothing. Bo was a proud veteran who served his country during the Vietnam war, was an outstanding athlete and a better coach who touched many lives over the years. Bo enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, visiting the local casinos, talking and watching sports (and making the “occasional” wager), spending time with grandchildren and gardening. We will all miss the countless flowers he bought which he would deliver around town. Anyone who was blessed to know Bo, knew he had a heart of gold and those closest to him will miss him, his smile and laugh more than words can express.

A funeral service for Bo will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. The family encourages everyone to wear SF Giants attire, SF 49ers attire or orange in memory of Bo.
