She immigrated from Greece in the 1950's with our Dad, George Papadopoulos, M.D., who preceded her in death in 1980.
Although she had many talents, including sewing, embroidering, cooking, baking specialty pastries, such as baklava and gardening. Her greatest gift to her children was her deep love for them. She continually provided unconditional love, and her children had so much respect for her opinions and insight that they often consulted her before making final decisions.
She is survived by her loving son, Bob and his fiancée, Alice Trevino; three daughters, Mary Jane, Margy, Linda McGrath and her husband Kirk; and grandchildren that she adored, Robert, John, and Alexis Papadopoulos.
A Funeral Service will be held at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., along with a Memorial Luncheon at the Church's Hall.
