Charles Emerson Bolin Jr., a devoted resident of Fresno, California, passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on March 20, 1932, in Darby, Ohio, Charles lived a life marked by dedication and service.
Charles was a proud Air Force veteran, serving his country with honor. His commitment to service and community was evident throughout his life, and he carried these values into his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bolin Sr. and Evelyn Groh, and his daughter, Debbie Beirne. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Marilyn Bolin, and his children: Timothy Bolin, Kathy Nelson, Donna Joyce, Kelly McGaughy, Brad Fournier, Melissa Swank, and Evelyn McBreen. Charles also leaves behind numerous friends and family to cherish his memory.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Fresno, located at 475 North Broadway, Fresno, CA 93701, on September 11, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place on September 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the San Joaquín Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Rd, Santa Nella, CA 95322.
