After returning home in 1946, he married his wife, Janet; a marriage that lasted sixty-five years, and settled in Central California. Those years brought two sons, three granddaughters, and a great-grandson. His working life was spent as a truck driver for United Grocers, Fleming and Ryder Systems, and he served in the Fresno Police Department Reserve Unit as well.
Bill was a quiet and patient father and a loving husband. He loved music and western movies, but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Perry; his son, Randy Perry and his wife Debby; son, Roger Perry, his granddaughters, Natali Carrera and her husband, Brandon; Shauna Heuston and her husband, Ian; and grand-daughter, Cohen Perry; and his great-grandson, Keegan Carrera.
"He was our rock. We will miss him."
