Charlotte Acuna

Charlotte worked for the Salvation Army for many years as a store manager and supervisor of several Salvation Army stores. She also worked for 11 years as a Senior Companion for Catholic Charities for which she received many certificates of appreciation and letters of commendation.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arturo Acuna; brother, Paul and sister, Bertha Varela.

She is survived by her sisters, Genie Salerno and her husband, George of Pahrump, Nevada and Jennie Perez of Fresno, brother, Mike and his wife, Rose of Oceanside, son, Louis and his wife, Marcie of Fresno, daughter, Cecilia and her husband, James Urner of Clovis, daughter, Helen and her husband, Kris Koontz of Coarsegold, and son, Raymond of Fresno. She also leaves six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A visitation for Charlotte will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, California 93720. A recitation of the holy rosary will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, California 93720. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa Street, Fresno, California 93721. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S. Cornelia Ave., Fresno, California 93706.
